TENOR
Ramil Gasimov was born on December 10, 1984 in Baku, Azerbaijan. His professional stage career began in 1999 as a leading soloist at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater. In 2004, he began working as a soloist of the choir of the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Closed Joint-Stock Company named after Jahangir Jahangirov. First opera performance was in 2010 in the opera "Intizar" by the People’s Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Firangiz Alizade and Professor Nargiz Pashayeva. In 2011, Ramil Gasimov performed the role of the main character “Koroghlu” in the opera “Koroghlu” of the prominent Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli at the stage of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. He represented Azerbaijan at various international music festivals and competitions. As a conductor, Ramil Gasimov conducted the orchestra in 2017 at the Uzeyir Hajibayli International Music Festival. On September 14, 2015, he was awarded with the title of Honored Artist of Azerbaijan. His repertoire includes folk music, romances, and operas such as Traviata, Tosca, Rigoletto, as well as works of Azerbaijani, Italian, Spanish, French, English, Turkish, and Russian classics.
